007 - 365 Pink Sunset

This was the sunset we saw today as we were driving to our girl scout meeting. The high today was 26. Tomorrow it is not supposed to get out of the teens.

The meeting was fun, we got our information to start selling Girl Scout Cookies. The girls are super excited about it. We also had a little drama. The snack caught on fire in the oven at the clubhouse. I got to show of my quick reaction time and know how with the fire extinguisher. The 14 girls were not very pleased with the smoke and the fire alarms going off, their squeals were much louder. I wish there were pictures, but I am the one with the camera and I could not justify taking the time to pose with the camera in one hand while shooting the fire extinguisher.

006 - 365 Lights

Today I worked up at the church. Ali was home sick and I only got the camera out for 5 pictures. I do kind of like this one though.

005 - 365 Roxie Girl

On January 25th my Roxie will be turning 4. Isn't she a pretty girl. She allows me to follow her with the camera and do dumb things like pose her with peanut butter. Tongue shots are so fun.

 

004 - 365 Boys

Hayley brought Dyson and Dalton over for a bit today. Dyson loves his little brother,but he is often rough with him as three year olds seem to be. My kids think he is a living doll to play with. I found Dyson and Patrick Cuddling Dalton and talking with him today on the floor. Very cute.

Yucky Day Outside 003 - 365

The day was overcast and cold. Alison and Patrick both came to our room during the night, Patrick with bad dreams and Alison was not feeling well. When we got home from church Alison was running a fever. I decided to play a bit inside with the flashlight and vase and shutter speed today. I came up a with a few shots that caught my eye.

002 - 365

Day two. We are moving very slow these first two days of 2010. We wore PJ's most of the day. I finally decided I had to shower and get out. Craig and Ali got out for a drive with me. Patrick chose to stay home in his PJ's to play the Wii.

365 Kick Off

It is hard to start a 365 of pictures when you spend the day sleeping late and trying to keep the kids calm. I did get the camera out after 5 pm when we started moving. The great news is after sleeping late, we had a great family day. We stayed in PJ's all day long and I only got out to get Sore Throat/Cough Medicine for Craig.

The picture I like most today is of the motion detector lights at the back of the house. Almost full moon like.

Alison dancing and grooving with her iPod was a close choice too.
