Alison asks me everyday what the new challenge is. She was very excited about jumping. All of the kids were launching themselves out of the swings today. This was my favorite.

004 - 365 New Crayons

One of the most coveted items in our household are shiny brand new crayons, even better if they come in a big box with the crayon sharpener on the back. Both kids got Brand new boxes for Christmas this year, Patrick is still using his mostly sharp old ones to make these last.

003 - 365 Waiting

Today's assignment for my Daily Challenge Group was a Portrait From Behind. I found Alison on the porch this morning waiting for Dyson and Dalton to come over. I love how she puts together outfits for each and every day.

I also found out that 2 of my pictures made the explore page in Flickr. Yesterday's Cat Sculpture

and Lights from right before Christmas.

I have been adding photos since December of 2007, but this is the fist time I have made the explore pages.

002-365 Sculpture

Today's topic for the daily challenge was sculpture. I pulled the cat out of my garden, I loved the shadow of the fishbones on the concrete.

New Year, New Project 2011- 01- 365

I am still working on my photos. 2010 did not go as I planned. Job loss and unemployment along with tons of stress did not leave me time to focus on taking photos as I liked. I am ready to start once again to see how far I can go. I still upload pictures as often as I can to Flickr. I am also a member of a few challenge groups. Hopefully this will help me stay focused and on task.
So here is the first photo for 2011.

My Quiet Place. When things are nuts around here I like to hide out on my patio. If I can take a book and a glass of wine, even better. Craig and I were talking today about Spring garden plans. I also have 120 tulip bulbs to plant this week. Happy New Year.
