Slacking

I do have tons of new pictures though. Still playing with the telephoto adaption lens Craig got me. the pictures aren't coming out the best, not sure if it is user error or not. I have been using it to get some great macros though.

These were all taken from far away up above the pool while watching swim practice.

Road Trip

I took the kids to the farm by myself. The weather was awful on Friday, but the drive back Sunday was great. I stopped at many of the small towns and got tons of pictures. The kids were great sports about it. The DVD player in the van sure pays for itself.

Of course the trip had to start with coffee.

Spring is here

I am loving the great weather, being out and about gives me lots of chances to play with the camera, Shawn and I took the kids to the Deep Ellum Arts Festival, I have been carrying my camera around and taking all sorts of shots.

Peaceful Morning

I got the kids off to school this am without much fuss. I had Roxie in the car and I decided to drive along the creek on the way back home. It is not nearly as windy as yesterday and I was enjoying the sunshine when I saw this gorgeous fellow standing on the bank. He let me get quite close to him for his picture. I am glad I had my camera with me today.

Lost Maples State Natural Area

For Spring Break we drove a bit farther than our usual camping. The change of scenery was great I took over 800 pictures on my camera and Patrick took quite a few on my old camera as well.
